if you just ignore them, they should just... go away
ReplyDeletewhat an over-hyped piece of nothing. i think i saw a guy hitting a 'one hit' on the pad once at some point.
ReplyDeleteso, wtf was that? all marketing and no substance.. no product demo just a bunch of people belly dancing...
ReplyDeletei'm up for their "Presidents' Challenge."
ReplyDeleteEveryone talks about it, kind of marketing (????) - although they have the biggest negative hype for any product launch among the synth related products I guess. I take it as some kind of publicity stunt, maybe its a very good comedy group.
ReplyDeleteyou have no idea how much i wish Elhardt was behind this.
ReplyDeleteOh, i'm speechless. Did they bring any elephants or at least an elephant man? Fireworks? Free beer?
ReplyDeleteDJs, drummers, producers, dancers.. Where are people who actually designed this thing? Engineers, programmers, anyone?
"you have no idea how much i wish Elhardt was behind this."
ReplyDeleteYou and me both.
Wow, this box will make me cool. Maybe even improve my basketball skills. This thing will give me swing.
ReplyDeleteI'm gettin' one! You better get yours!
ReplyDeleteHOW DO YOU LIKE MY GRILL???
ReplyDeleteIf Elhardt was behind this that would be absolutely brilliant. From the rendered Sage to the SMS 2000 physical shell, to this at NAMM. That would be pretty funny.
ReplyDeletethat is the worst sales presentation that i've ever seen. Professionalism? I like the product, but the sales guys are dicks. Not sure if i'll buy it for that reason alone. If i have a warranty issue, is that what customer support will be like?
ReplyDeleteI was at the hottest booth at NAMM, and this wasn't it.
ReplyDeleteThe hottest booth featured guest appearances or walk-throughs by Herbie Hancock, Dhani Harrison, Morton Subotnick, Eric Levy of Garaj Mahal, Erik Norlander, some singer from P-funk whose name I don't remember now, Roger O'Donnell (formerly of the Cure), and many more, with live music and jam sessions on stage every hour. It was pretty darned fun...

ReplyDeletein the 2010 edition of Fab Five Freddy's Fresh Fly Flavor (A Hip-Hop Dictionary), the illustration for the "Front" entry is going to be a picture of these jokers with their beat off thing.
i've never seen 2 million in venture capital pissed away as effectively as this fiasco.
