Android Musical Pro Multitouch Drum Demo
YouTube via csvy
"This is a quick demonstration of the new multitouch drum kit in Musical Pro, an application available in the Android Market. The multitouch requires a rooted G1 running JF1.4 or greater.
This is about the limit of the G1's support for multitouch: it can only detect 2 fingers, and if the buttons were any closer, the screen would be incapable of distinguishing the fingers from each other.
Sorry about the lack of quality (and rhythm). I had to film it using my laptop's built-in webcam, which is quite a bit more difficult than one would expect.

the multi touch is an excellent experiment. it would be great to have, even basic, multitouch implemented for the onscreen qwerty keyboards. i tend to type fast and being able to hit a second letter (or key) would be excellent.
