Arturia Origin Review and Samples on cl516

There's a littl "Thriller" clip in the first demo.

The one thing interesting about the Origin is that it is the PPG Realizer re-incarnated - the first PPG Realizer to actually be realized. The PPG Realizer never made it to market like the Origin.

  1. I'm not sure who posted this, but the top picture is an image of my PPG Realizer that I shot several years ago.

If you look at the Vintage Synth Explorer listing of the PPG Realizer, you will see that he acknowledges where the picture came from.

  2. Hey Roger that's pretty cool! Was the Realizer's software ever in a finished state?

  3. Also, I actually had a go at an Origin at Guitar Center, of all places. The build is a lot more solid than the photos let on. I didn't really jive with the interface though. I wish Clavia would do something similar to this, but with their Nord Modular technology.
