Kandinsky Sonified by Todd Barton

Kandinsky Sonified by Todd Barton from todd barton on Vimeo.

"I've been captivated by Vasily Kandinsky's artwork and his philosophy of music and art for years. Recently I 'sonified' Kandinsky's Composition VIII from 1923. It is a 90 second journey from left to right through Composition VIII created using UIsoftware's Metasynth 5. Enjoy."
