"synths of love"

YouTube via TheSynthFreq
"Hi. This is a new composition using an older pattern on the EMX, written 3-30-10 is still a work in progress. This song is about my deep passion for synthesizers and the joy of creating music from the heart.

Synths lovingly used: D-50: strings Alpha Juno-1: e-guitar lead CZ-500: MIDI controller for pitch bend messages Yamaha QX-3: MIDI data recorder, 1 track

(P.S.: Check out my synth pictures at Flickr.com!)
PLEASE ENJOY!

  1. Hello SynthFreq.

I really enjoy your videos and all your synths. It's just a little bit pity that you play them like an electric guitar (please I do not want to hurt you by saying that !).

With all your gear, could you try to play some music more "synthetic" wich sounds a little bit like Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream, Schulze, Jarre, ... ? It would be very interesting (and instructive) to hear how you use arpeggiators, sequencers, TR808-style drum machine, etc... If you use them in the same way, the result could be great. That would be very kind of you. But perhaps, you simply don't like this kind of music !!

Anyway, thanks again for sharing with us your synth-passion ;-)

  3. @Philippe: :) HI, thanks for the comment. I do not take offense to it at all. I appreciate your suggestions. I love Tangerine dream, schulze, and many other awesome synth musicians. To be honest, I play my Juno-1 sound as a "guitar" sound because I Suck at playing a real guitar! I could never play what I want to on it, I am a synth kind of woman! :) LOL, so I wanted to write leads with that sound since I can actually play synths. LOL
I absolutely love sequencers and arpeggiators ,I wish the Juno-1 had one.
    Have a great day. :)
