Waldorf Q+ Filter Demos

via SovietSpaceChild on Gearslutz (be sure to scroll when you get there for more)

"I noticed that, in the last several months, there has been quite some debate over whether or not the Q+'s analog filters are "worth it" or not, so I decided to make some demos. The three demos are as follows:

1) In series tests 2 analog lowpass filters in series vs. 2 digital lowpass filters in series.

2) Post filter tests a Comb- filter with an analog lowpass filter in series vs. a Comb- filter with a digital lowpass filter in series.

3) Pre filter tests an analog lowpass filter in series with a digital lowpass filter vs. two digital lowpass filters in series.

I normalized the signals because the waveforms from the examples with the analog filters were literally 2x the size of the digital patches. I can upload the unprocessed waveforms if anyone wants them."
