Since 2007, Marie Knight has worked out of a small studio in the Asheville, North Carolina river arts district. When she's not chained to a lab bench or watching Audrey Hepburn movies, she combines flattened, distorted, embellished, and scaled-up representations of all manner of life forms with scaled-down signmaking to make arresting and occasionally nerdy graphic art.
