Bob Moog Foundation Auction: Original Pen and Ink Drawing of Bob Moog

via this auction
"This auction is for a piece by Asheville artist Gabriel Shaffer.

Piece Description: A pen and ink drawing of Bob Moog in front of his synthesizers on vintage sheet music. This piece is a study for a larger painting, titled "Dirge at Daughters Bridge" which will be available for sale at the live event. The piece is signed and dated by the artist on the back and front of the piece. This piece includes a frame. It is extremely detailed and even includes all of the individual parts of the Moog synths around Bob.

Gabriel Shaffer lives and works in Asheville, NC. The son of renowned folk/visionary artist Cher Shaffer, Gabriel was raised within the self taught medium and had contact with many folk and outsider artists as a young boy. Always creative, he spent much of his early youth drawing, painting, writing poetry and prose. At the age of 27, in a deep depression, Shaffer had an epiphany while experimenting with painting. He has since focused solely on visual art. He has already exhibited in over 80 shows and sold hundreds of works of art to collectors, rock stars, celebrities, politicians, bestselling authors, galleries and museums, throughout various major cities nationally and internationally.
