"This auction is for a piece by Asheville artist Marie Knight from ArtYes.

Piece Description: Winged girl carries a synthesizer suitcase to the bus stop as the sun sets in a circuit sky. Paints & vinyl collage on board. Colors in the second photo are more true to life.

It measures 16x20. It is signed and dated by the artist on the back.

Since 2007, Marie Knight has worked out of a small studio in the Asheville, North Carolina river arts district. When she's not chained to a lab bench or watching Audrey Hepburn movies, she combines flattened, distorted, embellished, and scaled-up representations of all manner of life forms with scaled-down signmaking to make arresting and occasionally nerdy graphic art.
