MPC 1000 & Kaoss Pad 3 Live
YouTube via psychopath3000 — May 27, 2010 — "Ok, so I lied a little. It's not entirely live. Here we have three loops on the Kaoss Pad 3, A/ a drum loop from the Lion King soundtrack, B/ a cut-up African choir loop from the same, and C/ a cut-up piano loop from the Up soundtrack (both AMAZING films, watch them right now. Go. Go now).
On the MPC 1000, I have sampled things including a Martinu piece, various vocals from across the universe of youtube and Rafiki from the Lion King. Much of it is live, much is not. So forgive me.
I hope you like this. It took me quite a while to figure out. Inspired by the likes of Pogo, Prefuse 73 and, obviously, the Lion King.
