Alesis Air Synth

YouTube via ISOTROPOSPHERE | February 18, 2011 |

"The Alesis Air Synth is a wonderful product offering hours of enjoyment. In this video I am using one of the six sequencer type patches in the unit, it also has 5 auto rhythm patches and many straight patches for the user. This is patch number 02 on the unit and I played the beat on the unit before setting the loop.

The Alesis Air Synth output (rca jacks) is running to my Make Noise Format Jumbler which I ordered with rca jacks on the left instead of the banana jacks that are stock. The two rca jacks are combined in a dual rca to single rca patch cable and fed to a mult. row on the FJ. From there one out goes to the Doepfer A-119 External input which is attenuating and grabbing a gate signal from the set threshhold. Out two goes to the Korg Kaoss pad which is running a reverb type patch with motion record activated. The Doepfer A-119 is sending audio to the WMD Giger Counter and from there the audio goes out to the mixer. The gate signal from the A-119 is driving RENE which is running the QMMG and the Tip Top Z3000 MkI which goes through the QMMG and out to the mixer. At the 3:21 mark I press the gate / trigger button on the Flight of Harmony Choices which triggers RENE to move to the next snake program and thus alters the sequence. As usual this was filmed Live as most of my videos are with no advanced programming of multiple tracks or midi data in the mix. Please comment if you enjoy my videos, Thank You."
