D-1000 drum machine operated from MFB SEQ-02 sequencer
YouTube Uploaded by metasonix on Jul 4, 2011
"D-1000 experimental modification. An MFB SEQ-02 was mounted in the lid of the D-1000 on 1.5" standoffs. Power for the MFB module was derived from the +10v and -5v supplies inside the D-1000. (Yes, it works.) The MFB sequencer gate outputs produce short pulses that are perfect for triggering sounds on the D-1000. If the SEQ-02 clock input is driven from the D-1000 clock output, the SEQ-02 can be used in parallel with the D-1000's built-in sequencer. All this, and the D-1000 lid still closes with no problem.
Please note: this is an advanced modification, NOT intended for beginners. You will void the warranty of your D-1000 if you do this."
