Custom White Nord Lead 2

via this auction - New Listing

"This synth has been subjected to a total overhaul including all key contacts cleaned, pots lubricated and replaced where necessary and a full bare metal custom refurb. This includes the stunning brilliant white powder coat on the top half and jet gloss black powder coat on the lower half. All metalwork coated inside and out. The powder coating was carried out locally by a specialist and is infinitely better than the original Nord paint both in surface finish and durability. Bespoke screen printing on the top panel and custom vinyl graphics on the lower case and rear. Again the screen printing was carried out by a local firm who have done a great job. The paint used for the screen printing was a 2 part that fuses with the powder coating so should last a lifetime (not like the original Nord legend which is very prone to scratching). It has also has custom hardwood end cheeks.

It has the last OS Eeprom chip inside (1.06).

It includes a very rare and valuable PCMCIA card for storing patches. Without this card the Nord Lead 2 can only store 40 user programs and NO multi-timbral performances. The card adds another 297 user program locations and the ability to store 100 performances.

16 voice polyphonic with 4 separate outputs, 4 independent synths really.

It’s complete with original manual."
