"Yamaha PSS30 built for mechanical cabaret (www dot mechanicalcabaret dot com)

Mods include:

PT2399 ;death industrial' delay circuit with rate, feedback and white noise filter

LTC1799 pitch mod with 555 square wave lfo

Low pass/high pass selectable resonant filter with gain, resonance and cutoff. The gain can be overdriven for some good filtered distortions on basses and cutoff modulation on drum patterns.

Thre damage control parameters (drone/overdrive/bit crusher))

Silent power supply: Filters out the 50/60hz hum associated with cheap wall wart mains adapters making for an excellent signal to noise ratio and a very smooth filter response.

I used the pss's in built sequencer to record the bassline on the first section of the video. It's simple but effective and can hold a suprising number of notes. Witht he pitch swept low the processor runs at a fraction of it's original speed meaning it can run for ages. It leaves free the two noto poliphony of the keyboard while playing the recorded line and also allows you to select a seperate sound to that being played by the sequencer."
