April testeten elf Schüler im Rahmen der Projektwoche des BBZ Weimar das mit dem am 24.11.2011 mit dem Innovationspreis für Kommunikation und Medien des Bundesland Thüringen ausgezeichnete Produkt „SoundPrism". Alle im Aufführungsvideo beteiligten Schüler besaßen kein iPad bzw. iPod, kannten SoundPrism nicht und starteten ohne Vorkenntnisse bzw. Vorerfahrungen in die Projektwoche.
Die daraus sich ergebende Zielstellung: Innerhalb von vier Tagen ein völlig neues Instrument kennenlernen, mit den erworbenen Kenntnissen und Fähigkeiten ein interessantes Stück komponieren und dieses bis zur Aufführungsreife bringen."
