King Korg VS Alesis Ion 30SC Mini vs StixMiniMouge

"This is a demo of King Korg patch 30sc mini vs Alesis patch StixMiniMouge. I had to do a little tweaking to bring the sound closer together between the two. The Alesis patch was originally assigned saw waves as the Korg was assigned pulse waves so I went with all pulse on the Ion. I also created similar detuned seperation between all three oscillators on each synth. At around 2:05 I add external delay equally to both synths. From my experience thus far the Alesis Ion seems to be slightly phatter while the Korg seems to be slightly warmer. The Korg patch uses a Moog Filter. I tried several different filters on the Korg but this one ultimately won out for keep up with the Ion. However, the P5 filter did a good job as well.

Thanks for watching!"
