Doberman Plays Synthesizer

"Baxter has always loved music. He likes to twang the door stops around the house and sing along to the sound they make. I made Baxter a synthesizer out of a piece of wood, an old dog dish, another piece of wood and a door jam. Oh, there's also a synthesizer trigger inside. With the help of my DAW and a free synthesizer program Baxter can jam with the family.

Doberman Synthesizer Prototype
"In this video Baxter the Musical Doberman tests a prototype of the Doberman Synthesizer. The device uses a sensor patched into a DAW. The DAW contains a plugin which converts audio to MIDI. The MIDI signal is then fed to the SYNTH1 plugin which generates the audible tones.
Unfortunately the prototype didn't survive the trial"
