Synthrotek Eko Meets Geophone

Published on Sep 8, 2014 drumasaurusrex

"Using one of two geophone components I scored off ebay last Spring to modulate the delay rate on the Synthrotek Eko module. These are loads of fun. The voltage range is low by itself, but useful for subtle warbles. Could easily be amplified or offset. The video shows the result of the unadulterated output being input into the Eko with the rate knob set just below the 'breaking point'. These are definitely going to get some use in the studio this week.

PS: they are wonderfully sensitive. I think the two of them together cost me 5 bucks."
