Oberheim OB-8 synth demo, by Pulse Emitter

Published on Jan 26, 2014 Daryl Groetsch

"Oberheim OB-8 analog synthesizer, 1983. No effects added, just the keyboard played and programmed live. Panning is done with the voice pan pots on the side. A heavenly synth, lush and classy. A glass of champagne on a velvet couch, rainbows in a night sky. This beast is truly alive, you have to thank it for working for you, and love it, appreciate it. You will soon become familiar with its interior; like the owner of an old car, you will have the hood up often. Like a cat you have to coax it into behaving. But love it and the love is returned ten fold, with pure tonal gold.
