This is very fun to perform. Lots of messing with the bassline in this. Reversing, repeating, filtering etc.

Once again the Kaossilator Pro is being fed into the Kaoss Pad Quad for some flavour, with extra reverb on the NOX 606 to tie it all together.

A new method of processing my Octatrack sounds was used in the final section. I can send tracks through the CUE outputs of both Octatracks into the mixer. They are then mixed and sent through an auxiliary output in to the Kaoss Pad Quad.

Basically this means I can send an individual instrument to the Quad Pad and effect them individually (or with others). It's fantastic for looping two things together like kick and bass, or adding extra FX to any track at any time.

I used it at 1:50 on the high pitch keys to add NOX 606 reverb, the final section on the bass with a phaser and flanger (a bit hard to hear) and for the "Love Hate" vocals at the end.
