Synth in 60: Moog Mother-32s and a Sub Phatty #2

Published on Apr 25, 2016 Patrick OBrien

"The Moog Sub Phatty and two Moog Mother-32s play together to for this patch, with background drum tracks from my modular synth.

The focus is how the two Mother-32s tempos are synced with each other. I'm also sending a clock to the modular synths (off camera) where I'm using Hexinverter Mutant Bassdrum, Mutant Snare, Mutant HiHats and Mutant Clap modules -- adding in Malekko's Varigate 4 for the trills in the Mutant Clap.

The Moog Sub Phatty's unique scream comes from the software editor program with a library of presets, one called "Death of Dr. Who".

The Korg MS-10 provides the bass drone near the end."
