Pics of the inside below.

This is one of the last prophet 10's made,
final revision with Sequencer and Braemer Tape Drive
#378 out of around 400 ever built.
June 1982
Includes:
Original Road Case,

A full Set of Foot Pedals.

A set of User created patch charts detailing the Data Tapes,
and The manual has blank patch charts you can copy to make more.
This Prophet 10 is All Original And Unmodified,
*except for there were some missing screws that I have replaced with ones the correct size since taking these photos.
I am going to update the photos soon, because that room was such a mess, lol
It is in great overal condition,
The paint is nice with only a couple minor scratches,
The Wood sides are original and in great condition.
The Keyboards are in good shape, with only light hairline cracks on the some of the white keys.
The Tape Drive and Sequencer still work fine.
Memory Backup Battery tested at 3.44v which is right on spec.
Until just recently This Prophet-10 hadn't been played in the past 25 years,
It was stored away in the road case since around 1991.
So it could definitely use a bit of a tune up.
I just brought it out and played it and ALMOST everything seems to work fine,
when its on Double Mode every note on both keyboards work,
and you can assign different voices to the upper and lower keyboards
A few of the notes are a a little scratchy if you don't press them firmly enough, I assume fixing this is just a matter if cleaning and alligning the contacts,
when it's on Normal or Single mode not every note works,
I'm not sure if there was something wrong, or if it just has something to do with how I had it set up.
I suspect it's something in the set-up of the patch, because Double and Alternate Modes work fine. but I have no idea,
This thing is sometimes confusing as far as how to operate. and I haven't read all of the manual yet,.. I'll update if I figure it out.
This Prophet was gigged in Various Bars in Seward Alaska in the 80's
it has a very faint cigarette odor, that I only catch a wiff of every once and a while when I'm up close.
I bought the $29.95 Diagnostic ROM set from Wine Country, and I will be including that with the sale
I have not run the Diagnostic ROM yet, but I will update if I do.
This Prophet-10 has the Braemer Type Tape Drive on the side, so it's running OS Version 5.0
rather than the ones with the Exatron Tape drive on the front, which run OS 4.0
The Best thing about having a Prophet-10 the Braemer Drive is you will retain use of the Sequencer and Tape Drive when doing the MIDI upgrade.
where-as if you have one with the Exatron drive, the midi Upgrade will disable it, as well as the sequencer.
^That alone makes this Prophet-10 the one to own,
This Prophet-10 doesn't have the Sequential "Ugly Mod" like the other one listed on eBay..
This version with the Braemer drive doesn't need it.
The other guy's prophet-10 might be more "well maintained" than mine,
And Mine might need a visit to the tech for a tune up,
-but mine is more original, unmodified, and includes the road case & all accessories,
Plus it's The best version to have."
