"Expressive E is releasing a new bank of presets for its unique expressive instrument, Touché. Named “Mercury”, this expansion is the first of its kind from the company, and widens the range of sonic possibilities ofered by the combination of Touché and Lié, Touché’s companion sofware.

The Mercury expansion adds 80 new presets to Lié, with a strong focus on electronic and dance music genres. Here’s Expressive E own words :

'With Touché and the Mercury expansion, you will explore dance music genres within one gesture. One sound can take you from heavy basses of trap music straight into the realm of electronic dance music’s “taser” leads.

Each preset is carefully designed and finely adjusted to be sensitive to the slightest gesture. It lets you experience a genuine instrumental interaction with your music, shaping its texture intuitively.'

Expressive E says that the presets from the expansion were designed using the renowned UVI Falcon sound engine (which already powers the factory presets included with Lié), and all sounds are playable within UVI’s free sound player Workstation, included in Lié’s installer, or directly within UVI Falcon.
