"The Ellitone Multi-Synth is a budget-friendly synthesizer that can produce a wide variety of sounds thanks to its 7 selectable synthesis/operation modes.
Each of these 7 synthesis/operation modes utilize the instruments 4 knobs, 4 keys, and center patch bay in different ways.
One of the most important things to know about the Ellitone Multi-Synth is that it requires 0% knowledge of synthesizers or synthesis concepts to instantly pick up, patch, and play.
All that is required to master the operation of this electronic musical instrument is a experimentation.
Example: Without a single patch wire connected within the patch bay, the entire instrument is in its BASE STATE - This initial operation mode is simple,
Each of the 4 keys trigger a different note, the knob above each key adjusts the frequency of that note.
After playing a few melodies like this, curiousity would lead to questioning the use of the patch bay in the center.
This patching area is set up in such a way that ANY connection made from one of the 6 Smaller Output Jacks into the 1 Larger Input Jack will make a change to the current sound that is
both immediate and understandable. This simple idea allows for someone without any knowledge of synthesis terminology to be able to play and patch here without becoming
confused over concepts like Gates Envelopes Pulse Widths Resonance and so on.
Memorization of this patching matrix and the effect of each patch connection is the key to unlocking the deep synthesis possibilities within.
Therefore, knowledge and understanding of the following information is not essential for the operation and enjoyment of this musical instrument.
It is instead, a brief explanation of the individual synthesis modes for those want the jargon!
The 5 inputs holes on the Input Jack in the patch bay center represent the inputs to these settings:
-WaveForm
-Voicing
-Mode Select
-Speeds
-Rhythms
Simply patch one of the 6 output option jacks into any of the above 5 input holes to make a new selection for this setting.

Waveforms - options 1-6 represent 6 different waveform shapes that can be selected. New wavetable shapes are constantly being shuffled into the selection but only
6 are presented to you at a time.
Voicing - options 1-6 each represent a unique way to group and tune the 1-8 oscillators that may be voiced simultaneously. These 8 oscillators can be tuned in octaves or tuned into
chords. The current chord tuning options available to you are constantly being re-calculated and shuffled in order to provide a never-ending element of sonic exploration.
Mode Select - This input hole selects which synthesis/operation mode the entire unit functions in. Use output options 1-6 to patch select the different modes.
(there are actually 7 modes counting a BASE STATE where nothing is connected in the patch bay area)
Speeds - Sets new Sequencer Speeds or Envelope Settings depending on what operation/synthesis mode selected
Rhythms - Selects between different Rhythmic patterns to apply to your synth voice or running sequencer.
Also used to apply rhythmic envelopes to modulate certain parameters in certain modes.

- Infinite Bounce Matter (bouncing ball style sequencer)
- Chirpp (experimental cosine-grain type synthesis)

The signals used within the patch bay area of the Ellitone are not CV. They function using a new, simple digital protocol format that works very well. The patch bay inputs and outputs will therefore be compatible with future Ellis synthesizer components that function within this same signal system. This opens up the possibility of having multiple devices
modulating eachother creating more complex tones and musical phrasings! yay!
