"This was recently sent to Studio Electronics for a “Non-MKII Reface Makeover.” This involves factory tuning, cleaning, firmware upgrade, switching all pots to metal-shafted, and re-voicing to MKII standards. They also updated the knob caps to the nicer ones, and we have added color caps to the smaller knobs along the bottom. This might not exactly be a Boomstar MKII, but is is very close to it. Sounds insane."
