"This is the US version from 1982 [make that 1984 - thx to Z in the comments for catching it], and was recently professionally serviced. All tests pass (see photos), all inputs and outputs work, front panel is clear and flat. It's definitely one of the better Xpanders out there right now."

    1982? MIDI was introduced in 1983. I think the XP-1 was released in '84.
