It functions much like your average midi controller keyboard, but specifically tailored to the needs of live foot controls. For example, it has a hold feature which holds the last pressed note only until you press the next note, allowing you to play it much like a bass guitar but with one foot. With its midi capability you can trigger samples, loops, and easily change the octave/patch on the fly. Cool! Hey, I'm trying to make one of these and I'm trying to figure out the wiring. It's 14 wires and it seems like it's a ground +13 momentary switches. However, the high C keeps acting weird. Do you think I'm missing something and it's not that simple and I'm missing something?
ReplyDeleteYou may need to clean the contacts of the high C. I think in general the wiring of these things is nothing fancy
