"The Korg Mono/Poly has a bit of a cult appeal, among vintage analog monos. It stands out due to its unique paraphonic architecture, featuring four SSM2033 VCOs and one SSM2044 VCF, along with a variety of keyboard control modes. It is incredibly versatile and provides ample control via its knob-laden panel. The switchable mod/sync circuit makes for a lot of fun and the poly mode, with individual tuning per osc, can produce some sickeningly lo-fi textures a-la Boards of Canada or MGMT's recent Little Dark Age."
