"This unit is in great condition. I do want to warn any potential buyers, this device is weird and will take a lot of playing around and trial and error to understand how to use it and see what it can do.

I have found that you can use it's synth capabilities to tap into bizarre digital cityscapes or you use its delays with microphone and instrument inputs or even use it as a effects processor to add vibrato and some cool distortion to guitar or keyboard, like in the sample I provided.

I can't really offer any guidance on how to use this other than plugging in and trying new things. There's guides online that people have made to figure out where you even begin. Search for a Cocoquantus guide and look for a link to a forum called muffwiggler, that is a great starting point.

This also requires banana plugs and cables to operate. I'll include 5 homemade stack-able cables I made for the synth. I also do not have a power supply, it did not come with one. I have been using 9 volt batteries but if you don't want to do that it takes a 12 volt DC power supply. This is from their sight.

Ciat-Lonbarde instruments take a 12 volt DC power supply (@ 300ma or greater) with a tip positive, 2.1mm plug. Search for "2.1mm 12v dc supply." Until you procure one, use a nine volt battery to power the instrument."

  1. Hey, I have a Coco and I find it difficult to change batteries, it feels like I’m going to pull the whole thing apart. Any tips? It’s a shame there’s no power switch to conserve battery life.... thanks!
