fokale DIY Synthesizer

DIY Synthesizer up and alive finally Published on Jun 11, 2019

"This is the first test run of my semi-modular homemade synthesizer. The sequence comes from the built in sequencer and the key changes are done via midi. The synth has two continiously variable waveform oscillators ( Kobol type ), two voltage controlled filters ( SSM 2044 Lp on the left, Steiner-Parker state variable on the right), one digital midi synchronizable LFO, one analog LFO, two ADSRs with trigger delay, bi-polar modulation routing switches and attenuators, one analog bucket-brigade delay module, digital overdrive, portamento and a 16 note sequencer.

I designed the front panel graphics and printed them with the help of a local professional silk screen printing craftsman. The panel sheet and all the holes were precision cut by CNC plasma cutter. The case is a modified old Teac tape recorder case."

  1. a labor of love! Looks like a bit of a masterpiece to me. Why don't you produce another 3 units that you can sell. Use the money to invest into more production. There's a lot of money in synths. You deserve your share of the market. Lots of people making a living out of their passion:
