This is the first post to feature WYWS on MATRIXSYNTH. Current offerings as of this post for the archives:
WYWS MS1010 10 Step Sequencer/LFO Eurorack Module
14 hp ~30mm deep
10 Steps of CV with clear backlit knobs.
Gate out for each step.
External reset and clock inputs.
Manual Clock and Reset Switches (very helpful for programming sequences)
Clock input normalled to Square out of LFO
LFO outputs +/-5V Triangle and 5V Square
Expansion port on the back for upcoming gate combiner/reset expansion + more.
MS313 Sequential Switch/Gate Sequencer Eurorack Module
4 Independent CV controlled switches (rows 1-4) normalled to a 4 step gate sequencer in the top half of the module.
Gate sequencer has a CLK input a RST input and gate outs for each of the four steps. LEDs show the active step.
Each row has an INPUT (left of the module) a SWITCH CV (Centre and LED) and an OUTPUT (right of the module). The switches are bi-directional so inputs can be used as outputs and outs as ins.
A clock signal/manual step button will step through which row is active.
Reset jack can be patched to the gate sequencer for 2 step or 3 step modes.
If a control signal is connected to a row's switch CV (centre jack) it will break the normalling to the gate sequencer and that row can be used as an individual on/off switch. All four switches can be active at once with external gates.
Inputs/Outputs are normalled together so the module can be used as 4 individual switches or a 1:4 or 3:1 etc.
Will switch full +/-12V range, both CV and audio.
8HP
Includes unlimited streaming of Laurel via the free Bandcamp app, plus high-quality download in MP3, FLAC and more.
MS590 Semi-Modular Synth Voice
The Synth is made up of a pre-patched combination of:
CEM3340 Based VCO
- Triangle, Saw and Pulse waveforms with mix
- FM and PWM cv attenuator
- VCOMOD switchable between Triangle LFO and VCA envelope.
Dual 12dB Filter
- Input switching between LP/HP or Both
- Self oscillating resonance
- VCFMOD switchable between Triangle LFO and VCF envelope.
Dual VCA
- VCF2 normalled to VCA1
- VCA output normalled to input 1 of the top attenuator channel
- VCA envelope normally to both CV controls
LFO
- Rate control from low frequency to audio range
- Shape control for PW on the square wave, blends between ramp and sawtooth for the
triangle
Dual Cycling AD Envelope
- Trig and gate inputs for both
- 5V output
- Cycle switch for each channel
Overall the synth has 34 Patch Points arranged in the following order, top to bottom.
Attenuator Channel
- 2 inputs with Level control, 2 identical output jacks. (Normalled as master volume)
Main patch points
EXT, TRI, SAW, PULSE, MIX, V/Oct
VCFMOD, VCOMOD, PW, FM, LFOSQR, LFOTRI
VCF1IN, VCF1CV, VCF1OUT, VCF2IN, VCF2CV, VCF2OUT
VCA1IN, VCA1CV, VCA1OUT, VCA2IN, VCA2CV, VCA2OUT
TRIG1, GATE1, VCAENV, TRIG2, GATE2, VCFENV
WYWS MS237 Dual 12db VCF Eurorack Module
Dual MS20 Filter with LP/Both/HP modes. Cutoff controls can be linked in 3 different ways:
Individual mode
Cutoff A controls A+B/Cutoff B
Cutoff A Controls A+B/Cutoff B positive offset on B, negative offset on A
8hp ~50mm
Includes unlimited streaming of LP2 via the free Bandcamp app, plus high-quality download in MP3, FLAC and more.
WYWS MS507 Dual ADSR Envelope/Dual VCA
14hp ~50mm deep
Timed Stages (Attack, Decay and Release) have a range of 1ms to 10 seconds
30mm LED Sliders for A/D/S/R controls. LED brightness follows the Envelope shape for visual feedback.
Gate Input 5V Pulse
GATES 1 & 2 normalled to Doepfer Gate Bus (optional jumper)
Trigger Input Used to retrigger the envelope from the beginning while gate is high (5V). Can also be used for simpler envelopes (i.e. AD, AR, ASR)
Mode Switch Selects between 3 operation modes
ADSR Normal synth envelope.
Gated Cycle will loop the Envelope only while the gate is high
Cycle mode loops endlessly, In this mode the TIME CV will act as frequency modulation for the resulting LFO.
Cycle has a frequency range of 0.03Hz to ~300Hz
Time CV shortens envelope length (All timed stages A,D and R)
ENV Out Voltage output for Envelope 0-5V
VCA
CEM3360 VCA (Like ESQ-1, Jupiter 6 etc.)
Simple, stable CEM VCAs, can be used independently of the Envelopes.
CV IN is normalled to the corresponding ENV Out. 5V for maximum volume 0V for minimum.
Set up initially for processing an audio signal, the VCAs can also be used to CV control the Envelope’s Level by patching the ENV out into the VCA input and using an external control for CV IN (e.g. Velocity, LFO, Sequencer etc.)
WYWS MS137 VCF Eurorack Synth Module
MS20 Style 12db VCF
Mode Switch to select filter input (low pass input, high pass input or both)
Two Modulation Inputs
6hp
White PCB Panels
Red Knobs
Self Oscillates
NEW V2 DESIGN
Includes unlimited streaming of Idios Kosmische via the free Bandcamp app, plus high-quality download in MP3, FLAC and more.
