See the Synthuary label for more. Synthuary because these are the Jamuary synth videos. Synthuary also reminds me of a synth sanctuary. :)
Note some late entries came in for 01 & 02. Be sure to check them out. And if you are coming through the main page and see a "CLICK FOR MORE LINK" below, click it for additional entries.

"This time it's a quick game cover of the epic soundtrack in the Megadrive/ Genesis game Streets of Rage 2/ Bare Knuckle 2."

Polygonal Synthesis Experiments with the Polygogo from E-RM // #JAMUARY2020 Day 3

Published on Jan 3, 2020 DivKidVideo

"Here's the new Polygogo from E-RM. It's for some testing (and future videos) and I wanted to play around with the new polygonal synthesis method it uses and get lots of modulation and manual movements to explore it over a few minutes. ochd modulates it and the X and Y are taken out as hard left and right stereo and there's a bit of mono reverb in the background to create a softer wash underneath the dry sound. After exploring some softer areas of synthesis later in the video the last 30 seconds are killer!"

#Jamuary2020 - 03 - Korg Monologue, Zoom MS-70CDR, EHX 720

Published on Jan 3, 2020 Waveformer

"Jamuary 2020 goes on - a new jam with Korg Monologue on drums, pads and a melodic sequence, all looped by a EHX 720 and effected by three MS-70CDRs.

As before, the signal from the Monologue is split in three by the SplitMix. Each of the three pedals is connected in parallel to three separate outputs on the SplitMix, and by changing the output levels on the SplitMix, I can send the output from the Monologue to any of the three effect pedals.

The audio is recorded on a Korg KP2S and normalized in Audacity. Video is recorded on iPhoneX. Audio and video is synchronized in DaVinci Resolve 15.

Gear:
- Korg Monologue
- 3 x Zoom MS-70CDR
- Electro Harmonix 720
- Korg Mini Kaoss Pad 2S (for recording)
- Art SplitMix passive mixer
- Homemade passive mintobox mixer

Connections:
- Monologue - SplitMix
- SplitMix channel 1 - EHX 720 L - MS-70CDR #1 - Mintbox Mixer
- SplitMix channel 2 - EHX 720 R - MS-70CDR #2 - Mintbox Mixer
- SplitMix channel 3 - MS-70CDR #3 - Mintbox Mixer
- Mintbox mixer - KP2S

#jamuary2020 Day 3 - Teenage Engineering OP-Z

Published on Jan 3, 2020 Oscillator Sink

"Continuing the theme of 'I haven't used this in a while', here's a jam on the OP-Z.

I always think of the OP-Z is a bit like a computer game, you've got to have all of the "moves" at your fingertips; and after some time away that muscle memory sure had gone away! I had to take it slow while I eased my way back in, but I'll to return to it later in the month and try something a little more involved. At least I got to play withe the new instruments and FX here though (wow the new reverb is so much better!)!"
