Custom MPC-2000XL unit by Big Noise MPC. This unit is upgraded with the black MC-2000XL hot swap card reader, compatible with SD and CF media. It is upgraded with 32MB of internal memory, Akai IB-M208P 8 output / digital I/O board. The audio path caps are upgraded to Elna Silmic II electrolytic. The unit is wrapped in a durable black vinyl skin. The custom MPC bezel is hand fabricated from caramel colored canvas Phenolic, walnut wood with aluminum trim. This is a robust mechanical design made to last the lifetime of the MPC. The unit is upgraded with the MPC Stuff v.2 blue LCD Screen, Pad Sensors, black Fat Pads and LCD Window. The unit is upgraded with extra large grey rubber feet, custom black buttons, knobs and slider. These units are also equipped with a proprietary damping system under the pad actuators to reduce physical bounce and enhance drum hit accuracy. The AC input; primary, secondary and DC have been upgraded with Ferrite AC line filters. Unit comes with SD and CF card, complete Big Noise Drum Sample Library and MPC 2KXL App for managing samples.

The modular concept is a fresh new design. We may add a few embellishments to the design. Inspired by customer requests to purchase bezel kits separately. Custom bezel kits are now available for purchase on the Big Noise website. Bezel kits come in plastic, a wide variety of colors, Phenolic (a canvas / linen compost), wood and metal. Customers can mix and match materials. The MPC 2000XL is a classic workstation, perfect for entry level and professional music production. A studio quality sampler / sequencer that you can use to start making killer tracks just like the pros do! It has been used by Cirrus, Todd Terry, Drugs Beats, Roni Size, Black Milk, Freddy Fresh, Linkin Park, DJ Premier, Pete Rock, Kanye West, Kev Brown, Dr. Dre, Apollo 440 and Noiseman.
