Tama Techstar & Arturia Drumbrute jam - Using Techstar as a module with Drumbrutes individual outs

"I've always enjoyed my Drumbrute. The impact has a great sounding snare in comparison, and a great price point, but I've never regretted picking the Drumbrute up because it's fun to play with. My biggest gripe was always with the snare and toms. Not having decay on the toms always bothered me. The Drumbrute holds its worth to me over the Impact with the individual outputs. So I decided to put them to work!

The Tama Techstar is originally meant to be used as a module for electronic drum pads. On this video I used the Drumbrute's individual outputs on its toms and zap sound and placed them inside the Techstars toms and synth trigger inputs. The Techstar has way more controls for its analog voices than the Drumbrute does. So I decided to play with some of the modulation and have some fun!

Hope you enjoy some of my audio experiments. Please subscribe if you're into it!"
