"Extremely rare Waldorf Microwave PC. Essentially a Microwave XT, these were manufactured in coordination with the Terratec EWS64 XXL sound cards.What’s included is a Windows 98 PC with SSD and Microwave Software, a touchscreen monitor, PC keyboard and mouse. As the parts are vintage, they are in good condition, but old. It has stereo digital out, which the hardware version does not have as far as I know.
Everything is controlable via MIDI and onscreen with touch or mouse. Better workflow than the hardware with a small LCD display and scrolling through menus. This setup is fully functional and works great, but please keep in mind the computer and setup is home brewed. There are some compromises in the build with some exposed wires and monitor customization.
Overall this is an incredibly rare opportunity to get a full on, turn key
