  5. Like Emerson (and, humbly, me own self,) Wakeman has a penchant for Korg.

  7. Ridiculous. If you have musician status you can put asking price four times higher. I have one Korg Prophecy that I paid only around 400 euros. Rick Wakeman who is not even familiar keyboard artist to me is asking 1,775.93 € for the same. Who is this guy? My prophecy is at least in better condition and not smacked to pieces in many gicks.

    1. For you to not know who Rick Wakeman is, completely disqualifies you from having any right to comment on anything synth related.
In ANY synth poll, he is anywhere in the top 5 keyboard players of all time.

    2. you should be banned for even questioning Rick W, unbelievable!

    3. besides, getting his synths (overpriced though) you get "his" history, can't afford it? What's the fuss then.

  10. They are destroyed... it seems just garbage... maybe if he clean the keybords before selling he could get some extra money

  11. I wish there was more info about how he used each when and when. I just bought the Yamaha V50 because I could see how he used it!

  12. Like what albums he used each synth on or for what tours/ songs

  13. he must be hard pressed for funds. A rich man would donate them

  14. I agree that more info should be given per each kybd as Rick's history is long and quite iconic. As for the pricing- the problem I have is that some will by who arent even musicians. They purchase for the Collectible value as an investment. So the instruments will sit , maybe on display maybe locked away in a home never to be played again . Which I think is a shameful way to own such keyboards etc. All that said I do see that many of his classic keys are not included such as Mini Moogs, Hammond Organ, Mellotron, and other RMIs which i am sure he owned several models of. So this is not his entire collection, as one would expect he keeps the best of the best.

  15. I highly doubt he 'needs the funds'

  17. I've been a fan since I was 13 in 1973. I would argue that they are worth every penny especially if signed by Rick. Alas, on an Episcopal priest's salary, I can't afford. I thought of trying to purchase one of the least expensive ones, but even then, I could only come up with half of what they are asking. I do wish him well though. Cheers to Rick and all the fans!
