Rike Wakeman's Korg PS-3200 Polyphonic Synthesizer SN 210200 & 801010

via this auction

"Rick Wakeman’s 3200. Will be supplied serviced, working beautifully, and with warranty and service support. Case can be restored if required.

This will be given a full overhaul with our synth tech (the mighty James Walker) – shipping estimate is around 10 weeks from purchase.

Two oscillators per key; 48 notes of full polyphony and each VCO module has its own VCF and LFO.

Patching is pretty basic, but you didn’t come here for eurorack. This thing sounds incredible – so rich and musical.

Memory is also somewhat rudimentary – you have 16 memory locations for patch settings.

This will be given a deep overhaul by James before it ships, however we have assessed it and as you will see, aside from the wear to the case it has been well looked after. It’s been in storage for around 20 years but is complete and the end result will be a superb example, supplied with warranty.

The case… all the wear is part of its history of studio (and live) use by Rick, and the case and keyboard are signed by him (additional written provenance is being sought). We can give the case a light restoration to improve the look without removing the signatures if the buyer wishes to keep it original/authentic and it will look very good indeed. A more thorough cosmetic restoration is also possible (or a new case) – please get in touch with your requirements.

CONDITION: In good cosmetic condition, the face is very clean with minimal signs of age or wear. The case is worn with various scuffs and scrapes across the woodwork. Please see photos or get in touch if you require more information on condition.

Switchable voltage for use anywhere in the world"
