"This great filter is the early 9v AC version, with the SEM filter, very raw and powerful sounding"

SEM filter? The SEM is a state variable 2-Pole. Via Wikipedia: "The SEM featured a two-pole filter that could operate as a lowpass, high-pass, bandpass, or band-reject filter, giving it a different sound than the filters of the Moog or ARP filters popular at the time."

Anyone know what this is about?

  1. I have one - lots of fun - esp with a rich ( distorted) input. Controls are a bit stepped as they are midi 7bit I believe. Nice self resonance. Not as “aggressive” as some modern filters. Ping me for more info
