New Behringer M-5 Based on the Roland SH-5 In the Works
via Behringer
"MS-5 is coming. We’re super excited having finalized another blast from the past. This beautiful synth is now going to the beta testers for final review and then straight into manufacturing.
What do you think? "

think it's a good time to recommit to boycotting cheap chinese knockoffs, for numerous obvious humanitarian reasons. although good taste plays a part. so many great *creative* makers are producing far cooler modern kit, reward them instead! or if you're pro chinese-russia, maybe instead consider boycotting because uli is a slime.
ReplyDeleteLove this synthesizer! Love Russian people!! Love Chinese people!! Love Uli Behringer for everything he does and how he has treated, respected and paid well ALL of his employees across the globe. The only thing in fact I don't love, is the fact that more than half of my vintage synthesizers have failed completely beyond repair over the last 10 years. Talk about REAL suffering and REAL heartache. Almost worse than losing a family member when your Oberheim OBX, Korg Trident, Linndrum, Sequential Circuits Prophet 600 and DrumTraks all bite the dust.
DeleteTell us more about this from your Chinese-made electronic device!
DeleteUntil you've effectively boycotted 100% of Chinese made products, it's really time to put away the tired, well-trodden riteous indignation. The MS-5 is beautiful in this non-hypocrite's eyes.
DeleteI currently own a Deepmind 12, Model D, K2, CAT and Pro~1 and I will be purchasing the DS-80, PolyKobol and many others when they come out. In the past I owned 30+ vintage synths before E-Bay came along and then prices shot through the roof. Here are some prices I paid in the late 80's early 90's. Yamaha CS-10 ($150), Moog Source ($200), Mini Moog ($150), Crumar Multiman S ($150), Yamaha SK-30 ($200), Siel Cruise ($250), Akai AX-73 ($300), Six Trak ($400) and many many more. Behringer came along and built vintage synths so the newer generations could experience them at a reasonable price.Kudos to Behringer!
ReplyDeleteYou have missed the point when your political views/hatred is greater than the question.
