"The incredibly rare and warm Prophet-3000! Two versions of this sampler existed: The Rev A and Rev B. The Rev B is generally more sought after, especially with the 4 mg memory upgrade. This one is simply a Rev A with 2 mg memory though, but it is still very cool. The disk drive seems to be struggling a little bit these days, so a replacement should be considered. I have several sets of disks to include with it, 3 of which are pictured. I will also be including 10 blank floppy disks which were included with it when I got it, so you can create and save sounds of your own. Below is a list of included disks:

This was the last sampler (and synth) made by the original Sequential company of the 1980's. With 8-voices, 16-bit sampling, and a curtis analog filter, it is an exceptional sounding instrument. However, it was essentially released in its Beta phase, so the software is notorious for being a little buggy. Most of the time it works, but you will need to be patient with it. I believe Wine Country still sells some stuff for the Prophet-3000. Anyway, do your research on these if you are interested. They sound incredible, but they come with all the quirks of a vintage synthesizer/sampler, plus some. This unit did come from a smoking studio (unfortunately), but I have taken some time to clean it up a bit (inside as well). The smell has subsided greatly, and will continue to do so over time."
