Video in the listing previously posted here.

"The EH-0300 was released in the late 70's by Electro Harmoinx. It filters 14 seperate bands of speech input rectifying the resulting audio signals, and using these DC levels to set the gain on a second matched array of 14 filters which control the harmonic content of the music input.

Electro Harmonix recommend that the best kind of microphone to use with this unit are medium to high impedance 600+ ohms dynamic microphones. The music input accepts any electric or electronic instrument, as well as line level signals.

Check out the video link. A test drive how the unit operates and sounds with synthesizer and microphone. I immediately thought of the song "Sheep" from Pink Floyd Animals album."
