Playlist:
1. Tre Modular - Replicant ADSR Demo
Tre Modular - Replicant ADSR is an envelope generator inspired by Yamaha CS80 synthesizers filter envelope section. It has Initial lvl, Attack lvl controls and multi stage decay and release, same as the CS80. In addition to those things Replicant ADSR has sustain control, retrigger function and inverted output that was not present on the CS80 filter envelope, making this a truly unique ADSR.
2. Replicant ADSR first look
Replicant ADSR is a CS80 inspired envelope generator. It has Initial lvl, Attack lvl controls and multi stage decay and release, same as the CS80.

But that's not all, we have expanded on capabilities of this envelope generator by adding sustain control, retrigger function and inverted output making this a truly unique ADSR.
3. Tre Modular - Alisa VCO Demo
Tre Modular - Alisa VCO is based on one of the most unique soviet synthesizers Alisa 1377.

Alisa VCO offers three classic waveforms Triangle, Ramp and Pulse. In addition to those waveforms there is a waveshaped signal output that serves as a fourth waveform. Waveshaper is the most well known part of Alisa 1377. In Alisa VCO the shape of this signal can be manipulated with a knob or with Control voltage.

Alisa VCO has an exponential FM input, level of which can be controled with its dedicated control knob.

This VCO offers control of the pulse width of the pulse wave both manually and with Control voltage. Pulse width has two modes that are set on the back of the module with a jumper. In one mode it goes from 10% to 50% duty cycle and in the other it goes from 10% to 90% duty cycle.

Alisa VCO is temperature compensated using a transistor pair on a chip and a Tempco resistor that are thermally coupled. We chose both a transistor pair and Tempco resistor in the smallest package that we could get our hands on for additional temperature stability.
4. Jam at Tre Modular Nr.3
A small Saturday jam.
5. Tre Modular - Switch Divider Demo
Tre Modular - Switch Divider is a versatile quad clock divider. It accepts one clock input and has four outputs. Each of the four channel divisions can be set by sliding switch. This makes it ideal for live performances and dynamic patches that require change of the rhythm on the go.

Switch divider outputs 0 to +5v signal which is commonly accepted as clock input for a wide range of music gear.

Another feature of this module is its glide functionality. Each channel has its own dedicated glide knob that controls the rise and fall of the generated square wave. This makes it more useful as a modulation source than traditional clock dividers.

As any clock divider Switch Divider can also be used as a crude sub oscillator.

Switch divider accepts wide range of inputs from +2v to +10v

Switch divider accepts any kind of signal that goes above +2v as clock inputs. It internally converts that signal to square wave that drives the clock divider circuit.

1/ division is a sort of passthrough output that converts incoming signal to 0 to +5v square wave and will maintain any pulse width modulation if such is present at the clock input.
6. Jam at Tre Modular Nr.2
This is a small part of a jam while testing few of our upcoming modules. Enjoy and stay tuned. Soon we'll be releasing two new modules: Switch divider and Alisa VCO.
7. Alisa VCO & Switch Divider first look
This is first look on two of Tre Modular upcoming modules - Alisa VCO and Switch Divider.

Alisa VCO is a faithful Eurorack adaptation of classic Soviet synthesizer's Alisa 1377 VCO section.

Switch divider is a performance oriented clock divider with glide function.
8. Tre Modular - Shape Mod Demo
Shape Mod is a versatile waveshaper inspired by soviet synthesizer Alisa 1377. This module not only functions as a powerful analog waveshaper but also offers additional features, such as - ring modulation and it can even be used as simple VCA.

Waveshaping part of this module is based on Alisa 1377 VCA based waveshaper. However Shape mod is a step further. It has two additional waveshaping stages that expand on the original waveshaper's capabilities, while still maintaining characteristic Alisa-like sound.

Shapeshifter gives control over the polarity of one of the waveshaper stages. This changes the characteristics of the resulting sound. It changes from softer sounding waveform to a more harsh sound.

Shape mod has a built in ring modulator using AS3363. With nothing plugged in, waveshapers output is normaled to both ring modulator inputs.

This module can also be used as single channel VCA. You can input a signal into the Waveshaper input and set the signal to dry. This way by controlling the gain knob and gain CV it works as VCA.
9. Jam at Tre Modular
Few days ago a friend of mine came over to try modular for the first time. What was supposed to be 30 min of just checking out turned into a 3 hour jam. I think it's fair to say that he's hooked now. Here`s small snippet of that jam.
10. Tre Modular - Shape Mod first look
This is first look at Tre Modular - Shape Mod. Shape mod is waveshaper/ring modulator. Its waveshaper part is based on soviet synthesizer`s Alisa 1377 waveshaper section. Waveshapers output is accessible on its own and is normaled to both ring mod inputs. With nothing plugged in it modulates itself. In this patch I mixed both waveshaper and ring mod outputs together.
11. Replicant Jam
At the center stage two Replicant VCF`s modulated by our Quad LFO.
As VCO I used my old and trusty Alisa 1377 VCO. Somewhat soon this module will have new life as part of Tre Modular Eurorack lineup. But before that there is a module coming soon that is closely related to this one - Shape mod. Shape mod is Alisa`s waveshaper with two extra shaping stages and a ring mod attached to it. Still some adjustments have to be made before it goes public, but I will tell you this much. It sounds amazing.
12. Tre Modular - Replicant VCF filter sweeps
Replicant VCF is a multimode filter inspired by the classic Yamaha - CS80 synthesizers filter section. This module is a -12 dB per octave second-order state variable filter. It offers low-pass, band-pass, and high-pass outputs.

Replicant VCF is explicitly designed to replicate the sound characteristics of the Yamaha CS80 filter. The CS80 is renowned for its warm and expressive sound, and the Replicant VCF aims to reproduce those distinctive characteristics in Eurorack format. If you want that classic CS80 sound in your Eurorack system, this is it.
13. Tre Modular - Quad LFO Demo
Tre Modular - Quad LFO features four independent Low-Frequency Oscillators.

This module is designed to offer both super slow and low audio rate speeds. It ranges from 0.013Hz to 40Hz. You can use it for slow moving patches or for audio rate modulation.

Other notable feature of this Quad LFO is skew/pulse width control. It is similar to one found on Korg`s MS-20 Modulation Generator. Rotate the knob to morph between sawtooth, triangle, and ramp waveforms. Turn counterclockwise for sawtooth waveform and clockwise for ramp waveform and in the middle it produces triangle waveform.

At the corresponding channels square wave output this control changes the pulse width of the square wave.
14. Proto Jam
This is a jam with my prototype modules. Some of them I have released but most of them are still on the way. '
15. Replicant Jam
Small jam with Replicant ADSR and Replicant VCF. Replicant modules are Yamaha CS80 inspired Eurorack modules.
16. III - 4035 VCF Demo
This is demo of my adaptation of ARP Odyssey MkII filter (4035). This is a 24dB/octave ladder low pass filter. The same design that got ARP in trouble with Moog. The infamous lawsuit filter.
17. 4035 VCF filter sweeps
These are filter sweeps of my adaptation of ARP Odyssey MkII filter (4035). This is a 24dB/octave ladder low pass filter. The same design that got ARP in trouble with Moog. The infamous lawsuit filter.
