Never thought of it as a chiptune synth.
via this listing, also on eBay

Originally produced in the USSR in the 1980s was intended as children's toy (note the Dog picture) but quickly became a collector's item among electronic musicians and enthusiasts because of its massive analog warm sound.
Modification adds an 11 preset "Sound Matrix" each with 3 knobs for Level, Speed & Depth. In addition, unit is given an Audio Input so it can be used as a standalone FX processor!
A great deal of analog sounds can be squeezed out of this little "weirdo"!
Check the Demo section.
For audio output - 1/4 TRS "Jack" installed. Powered by universal US\EU 9v power adapter, which is included.
DON`T MISS THIS TRUE EXCLUSIVE COLLECTORS ITEM.
