"I am auctioning off my huge Modcan/Cyndustries modular synth. I no longer use it enough to justify myself as its rightful owner, and hope it can find a good home, either another Modcan user or a school/institute that could put it to use as a great educational tool. Modcan is an upscale Canadian modular synth manufacturer that makes great equipment; Cyndustries was (no longer in business?) a company that made interesting and unique modules in the Modcan form factor. Many of these modules are no longer made and I expect are rare, to say the least, for example the Cyndustries Milton Sequencer. All the modules are installed in Modcan enclosure with PSUs, and installed in a rolling tower rack for convenience in a studio setting with a Furman power conditioner/surge protector - I found it nice to be able to move this around when I was reconfiguring/remodeling my equipment racks. If you just take the modules that are currently available, the replacement cost of this synth is $15K USD, and that does not include the Milton Sequencer, the Modcan 54B Series B sequencer modified with banana plugs, multiple Cyndustries modules plus some Modcan modules no longer made. Together, these add up to a 20K USD modular. So, a great deal for a buyer. I want to find someone who will put this to good use. Shipment will obviously be a significant expense as I expect this entire setup weighs 60-70 pounds. Thanks for looking!The modules are as follows:

A real beast, and no, I am not currently willing to auction this off piece by piece, I am hoping to find a single buyer interested in a very powerful modular at a great price. I am willing to ship the Modcan units without the rolling tower rack, they would be shipped in multiple boxes. The Furman unit and the banana plugs are free. You can learn a lot more about the Modcan modules at modcan.com that includes instructional pages, the Cyndustries units like the Milton Sequencer will require an online search however I can throw in my original Milton instruction manual.
