Introducing SEOK Synthesizers - Handcrafted Synthesizers from Sweden

SEOK x Artist // John och Julius //video upload by SEOK synthesizers

"⚠️ WARNING: This video contains flashing lights!

What you see is an improvisation within a limited concept.
Big thanks to ‪@johnochjulius‬ for kicking off our new YouTube series SEOK x ARTIST!

SEOK x ARTIST

A collaboration where an artist unleashes their creative madness on our gear. They dive in, explore, and shape their own workflow within a set time. In the end, they create something - be it a live improvisation, a track, or pure experimentation. We capture it all, letting the artist share their insights and experience along the way. Raw, fun, and authentic. The way good music should be made!"

SEOK - PHASES - phase shifting clock divider [DEMO no talk]

video upload by SEOK synthesizers

PHASES
Phase Shifting Clock Divider

This is a special yet simple divider with four outputs per division: 0, 90, 180, and 270 degrees, effectively shifting signals in the time domain. The 0 and 180-degree outputs are always available via the upper outputs, while the 90 and 270-degree phases can be selected using two rotary switches. At the bottom of the module, there’s an additional divider capable of handling more irregular divisions, though without phase shifting.

Background
The idea for this module arose several years ago when we had two sequencers that triggered on rising and falling edges, making synchronization impossible. PHASES easily solves that problem – and offers so much more. We often feed our MATRIX mixer with signals from PHASES, using it as a versatile three-channel sequencer.

Patch tips

Phases can actually work as a frequency divider too! Plug in your audio, and you’ll get sub-octaves in the outputs – perfect for adding that deep rumble. Just one thing to keep in mind: the audio output will be square waves only.

MATRIX
Attenuverting Matrix Mixer

This is a DC-coupled attenuverting matrix mixer featuring four input channels and three output channels. Each knob serves to attenuate and invert the signal from its respective input, directing it to the corresponding output. The knobs are set to zero at the 12 o’clock position. Turning the knobs clockwise adds the original signal to the mix, while turning them counterclockwise adds an inverted signal to the mix. This module can be used to mix both control voltage (CV) and audio signals.

No separate demo video yet.
