"The Yamaha SS30 is a vintage analog string synthesizer from the late 1970s, delivering lush ensemble textures and dual-channel stereo voicing in a uniquely expressive and musical package. Unlike some string synths of its time, the SS30 features two complete sound generators (one per stereo channel), offering rich chorusing and beautifully animated stereo depth.

This unit is in very good condition with some surface nicks in the chassis (shown in images), fully functional, and includes the original Yamaha-branded hard case. This unit is 100V (Japanese voltage) but a step-up power transformer is included for use with US voltage.

Key Features:

Dual-channel analog string synth architecture
Two separate signal paths for stereo ensemble effect
Voice presets: Violin, Viola, Cello, and Contrabass with mix controls
Slow/Fast chorus and Sustain modes
49-key keyboard with full polyphony
Original Yamaha case included
Condition Notes:

Clean exterior with minimal cosmetic wear
A few nicks in the veneer; please see all images
All controls and keys tested and working
Case latches and handle intact
Used by synth heads looking for a warmer, more flexible alternative to the Solina or RS-202, the SS30 has gained a reputation as one of the more refined and musical string machines of its era. The stereo spread alone is worth the price of admission.

30% of proceeds support the Bob Moog Foundation."
