There was a Barney Miller episode in which a man was arrested for causing a disturbance at and vandalizing an advertising company. He was an English professor who was enraged at the perversion of the English language by the advertising slogans and verbiage invented by the firm, such as "fun-elicious" and "Ko-ko-kosherific!" Fifty years later, I still feel that way when I see something like "Noisevember." Don't even mention pronouns, please.
