"Join us for an exploration of TRAILS as part of our Pedals & Patches series of videos, exploring pedal FX with modular gear, synthesizers, around the studio and with some other instruments too. Pedals aren't just for guitarists, so lets get creative with them!
Trails offers 7 FX that make your sounds sustain and grow, there's resonators (think Rings) with sympathetic strings, bell like chord generation, live and frozen buffer granular processing, a unique distortion like nothing I've used before, micro loopers, pitch shifting delays, vinyl record emulating delays and more!"

Explore a wide range of unique effects with Trails from Poly Effects, an innovative multi-effect pedal dedicated to far out sounds and creative control. Sympathetic string resonators, granular effects, delays, resonators, vocal modelling, wavefolding, and microlooping are all at your disposal in Trails, each with their own set of control parameters and a true stereo signal path. Poly Effects has provided their characterful touch interface for dialing in this diverse sonic palette, with independent footswitches for bypass and sustaining sounds in each mode. Using the onboard 8-step sequencer, you can create captivating animations and movement in each effect mode, providing a highly playable effect sure to lead you into uncharted territory.
The effects within trails cover a ton of ground, all while eschewing the vanilla in favor of truly special sonic worlds. Meadows provides tunable sympathetic strings to create interesting resonances that ring out as you play. Haven turns your instrument into a controller for lovely physical modelling bell tones. Prairie is a creative delay inspired by the sound of vinyl records, bringing lo-fi brilliance to any musical moment. Outback models human speech, perfect for formant-forward sound explorations. Tundra is a freezable pitch shifting delay that imparts an icy shimmer to any sound. Badlands blows apart your tone with rich wave folding and distortion. Coast generates granular microloops from your playing like a gentle tide or tumultuous surf, to your taste.
In any of these modes, Trails allows you to control parameters via MIDI, and also features both presets and a set list feature for simplifying changes on stage. No matter where your musical journey takes you, Trails from Poly Effects is a well-travelled guide, leading you into new worlds of sonic adventure.
