ASHUN SOUND MACHINES RELEASES DIOSYNTH LIVE MOBILE APP, Diosynth Firmware v1.2.3, AND Diosynth Manager v1.2.0. Introducing the New Favorites System.

Burbank, CA – September 30th, 2026 – ASM today announced the availability of Diosynth Live, a new companion app for iOS and Android phones, along with Diosynth Firmware v1.2.3 and Diosynth Manager v1.2.0. Together, these releases introduce a new Favorites system and a range of performance, workflow, MIDI, and reliability improvements. ASM has also launched a new line of Diosynth accessories.

Diosynth Live: Quick Access for Performance

Diosynth Live is designed specifically for live use. It gives players fast access to the controls they are most likely to need during setup and performance, organized into three areas:

• Favorites: A dedicated Perform mode recalls favorite patches quickly. In Edit mode, favorites can be added, reordered, and organized, and the list stays synchronized with the instrument.

• Setup: Direct access to the instrument's system configuration.

• MIDI: Direct access to MIDI routing and control settings for quick adjustments.

Diosynth Live connects to Diosynth over USB or Bluetooth MIDI. Full patch browsing and editing, bank management, and firmware updates remain in the Diosynth Manager desktop application.

Diosynth Manager v1.2.0

Diosynth Manager v1.2.0 brings the Favorites system to the desktop. Patches can be marked as favorites directly from bank lists and accessed from a dedicated Favorites tab with Perform and Edit modes. Favorites can be reordered, including moving multiple selections at once, and remain synchronized with the instrument.

Additional improvements include:

• Automatic preset backup before firmware updates that require a factory reset

• Improved firmware update messaging, status, and handling

• The ability to convert device backup files into individual banks

• Bank export to Excel (XLSX), including slot number, patch name, and category

• Improved patch and category sorting and naming

• Clearer indication of Part 1 and Part 2 parameters

• Updated envelope and LFO visualizers and waveform previews

• Numerous interface, stability, and reliability refinements

Diosynth Firmware v1.2.3

The new firmware delivers performance, MIDI, and reliability improvements, including:

• Smoother joystick and P1/P2 response, with less stepped parameter changes

• Improved Favorites list synchronization and real-time updating

• Improved MIDI Out device handling

• Improved stability when receiving large amounts of MIDI data

• Improved Trill key behavior with trumpet fingering

• Improved side-key behavior with flute fingering

• Corrected Tuning value communication with Diosynth Manager

• Fixes for Glide during recording playback in Ableton and Logic Pro

The factory sample library has also been refined, with improved dynamic response on all sample-based patches, removal of the filter decay setting on sampled instruments, and improved tuning of some samples.

Update Information

Diosynth Firmware v1.2.3 is bundled with Diosynth Manager v1.2.0, and the application guides users through the process step by step. This is a significant update that takes about an hour to complete. ASM recommends that all Diosynth owners update to take advantage of the new features and improvements.

New Diosynth Accessories

ASM is also introducing a new range of Diosynth accessories: Mouthpiece, Stand, USB-B and USB-C Cable, Audio Split Cable, USB Split Cable, and USB Power Adaptor.
