In this video, the Sidekick serves as both an audio interface and a performance mixer for live effects [note the tape loop]. Elastic Melody runs on two iPads: the left iPad mainly provides the rhythms, while the right one plays the bassline. The two iPads stay in sync via Ableton Link, while the K.O. Sidekick uses tempo tracking to keep its effects in sync. Very cool!
Elastic Melody has just received a huge update that significantly expands its sonic possibilities and sequencing capabilities. Available as both a standalone app and an AUv3 plug-in for iOS and macOS, Elastic Melody features three channels of synthesized sounds, an analog-style step sequencer, and four master effects."
